Job Description
We are looking for a meticulous, organized, and reliable Merchandising Clerk (Encoder) to maintain high-quality product information across our systems. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing product data using vendor sheets and online research.
Your work will serve as the foundation for our Merchandising, eCommerce, Marketing, Creative, and Retail Training teams—directly shaping how our products are presented to customers across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Management & Entry: Accurately populate product templates with key attributes, including dimensions, materials, colors, features, and benefits.
- Information Extraction: Review supplier and vendor specification sheets to compile essential product details.
- Product Research: Perform online research and consult manufacturer resources to complete missing product specifications when vendor data is limited.
- Quality Assurance: Meticulously verify measurements, codes, and copy before passing datasets to downstream teams to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Data Standardization: Update and refine legacy product records to align with updated brand, website, and merchandising guidelines.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive product data and proprietary information with complete discretion.
