We all have to slide back to Earth after closing, a hectic year. January is about living again, in warmth and wonder, through a fresh start, surrounded by clean white tones and spaces.
This year, we’re spending more time at our living room. Less time cloistered in our beds and more time hosting guests, working at the sofa, and welcoming opportunities to our home.
We wondered: Why is it called a “living room,” anyway? Living rooms are what they are because they bring people in and they are where we send our loved ones off. If there’s a place at home which calls us to move, it’s the living room, the here and now – modern and contemporary. At the living room, where we sit, lounge, talk, lie down, walk around, and just be with the ones we love.
