Job Qualifications
- Graduate of any 4 year course (with or without experience) OR Atleast College level, with related experience
- Preferably with experience in Receiving & Dispatching or any similar roles
- Must have good body built and can lift heavy furniture (Male)
Job Description
Responsible for checking the completeness of all information stated in the delivery documents.
Key Accountabilities
Daily Operations
- Check and verify physical quantity of merchandise against delivery documents.
- Reject items which do not conform to the specifications stated in the covering documents; Prepare gate pass for all rejected deliveries and endorse the same to the Receiving Supervisor for approval of release.
- Label all merchandise in accordance with prescribed guidelines prior to endorsement to RDU Forwarder.
- Release to suppliers all acknowledged sales invoice / delivery receipt / purchase order of all accepted deliveries.
- Endorse all checked merchandise to RDU Forwarder.
- Check all forwarded items by the Consignor’s group and release to suppliers on scheduled pull out dates
Document Management
- Receive, check, and file purchase order requests against the transmittal slip coming from Head Office and/or branch.
- Retrieve copy of purchase order and check completeness of information stated on the original PO.
- Counter sign on the acknowledged delivery receipt/sales invoice from supplier.
- Process document as to the changes made by the Receiving Checker.
- Prepare the transmittal slip for the processed documents (PO/SI/cancelled POS) to Head Office/Branch Accounting.
Merchandise Administration
- Counter check the items (as to quantity/color/size) against the purchase orders/requisitions to ensure accuracy
- Examine received merchandise to ensure that there is no damage evident and report any damages to immediate supervisor.
- Prepare requested items and forward/ deliver the same to the selling area.
- Ensure that all labels are clear and readable.
- Arrange items in a manner conducive to company policies and practices
Inventory Management
- Examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
- Conduct physical inventory of stocks on hand during inventory periods.
Skills

- Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft applications
